The Root to Heal Programs

Programs are structured and application-based to ensure alignment and readiness. All Upon request fo alignment consultation, a 20 minute alignment virtual visit will be scheduled to discuss your goals and needs. Every program integrates metabolic assessment, medication and supplement/nutritional strategy, hormone awareness and individualized nervous system training. If you are unsure which program fits, the application and alignment consultation will clarify next steps. Alignment consultations and ongoing sessions are conducted virtually to ensure accessibility and scheduling flexibility. In-person meetings may be arranged upon request and availability.

Additional Costs & Program Notes

Laboratory testing and continuous glucose monitoring devices are not included in program investment. Lab panels are ordered through third-party providers and billed separately. CGM devices, when used, are obtained through  direct purchase and are also separate from program fees.

These services are typically not covered by traditional insurance plans. However, many clients are able to use Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) for eligible testing and monitoring expenses. Estimated additional costs generally range from $300 to $900 depending on selected testing and monitoring needs.

All recommendations are discussed collaboratively before any testing is ordered and are optional based on individual needs and goals.

Core Components Explained:

Functional Medicine Strategy

We look beyond isolated symptoms and examine patterns in your labs, medications and supplements that may be quietly influencing cognition, sleep, recovery and energy. This includes targeted laboratory testing, medication optimization and identifying metabolic, hormonal and inflammatory contributors to brain function.

Many high-achieving individuals attempt to “outwork” physiologic strain. When stress hormones, glucose variability and sleep disruption are not addressed, more effort rarely produces better results.

Therapeutic Yoga

This is not a fitness class focused on flexibility or intensity. Therapeutic yoga is individualized nervous system training. Sessions typically include breath regulation, mind-body awareness practices, restorative positioning, strategic mobility and structured down-regulation tailored to your physiology.

For individuals accustomed to pushing harder, this work often involves learning how to slow down in a way that enhances recovery, improves sleep architecture and allows the body to actually benefit from training rather than accumulate stress.

Chronic over-activation of the nervous system limits cognitive clarity, metabolic stability and long-term resilience. This work restores balance.

Personalized Non Sleep Deep Rest (NSDR or Yoga Nidra)

You receive customized guided practices based on Yoga Nidra principles. These recordings are created specifically for your stress patterns, sleep challenges and cognitive goals.

For those who tend to overtrain, overschedule or overperform, non sleep deep rest becomes a structured recovery tool. It supports memory consolidation, emotional regulation and physiologic recalibration without adding another demand to your system.

Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM)

A wearable sensor tracks real-time glucose trends for a short period, allowing us to see how stress, sleep, training load and nutrition affect energy and mental clarity.

In high-output individuals, glucose variability often reflects nervous system strain. Stabilizing these patterns improves both cognitive performance and workout recovery.

Gray-Area Alcohol Education

Many professionals do not identify as having an alcohol problem but notice nightly drinks becoming part of stress recovery. We review alcohol patterns through a physiologic lens rather than a moral one.

When the nervous system is chronically activated, alcohol can appear to provide relief while further disrupting sleep architecture and recovery capacity.

Performance and Leadership Integration

We examine how sustained responsibility, decision fatigue, overtraining and high-demand environments influence stress physiology and cognitive endurance.

Leadership strain and chronic “doing more” patterns often share the same root: insufficient recovery relative to output. Aligning effort with recovery protects long-term cognitive clarity and physical resilience.
